Tuckerbil

Tuckerbil Wetlands are located to the north-west of Leeton, in the Riverina region of NSW. The wetlands are Crown reserve for Environmental Protection and Public Recreation (R1030008). The approximate area of Tuckerbil Wetlands is 283 ha.

Tuckerbil Wetlands currently does not have public access and therefore, at present, is not recommended to the public to visit. We are working to establish public access to the reserve and create walking tracks, picnicking facilities and bird viewing shelters, similar to those created at Fivebough Wetlands.

There is a permanent water basin adjoining Tuckerbil Wetlands, known to accommodate many and varied waterbird species, however this site is situated on private land and there is currently no public access to visit the basin.
